Get Your Craft On Cycle Chic Kids!

Just one more sleep to go to the much anticipated WOOP Rolling Festival on Bourke Street and we're excited!

We have piles of wonderful recycled craft generously donated by Reverse Garbage and Opera Australia.

Gorgeous lucky dip giveaways for all crafty kids thanks to supporters Gazelle Australia & CycleStyle and a FETE STALL!
(It's my first fete stall, forgive me for my joy!)

Our team of BRILLIANT Crafty Upcyclers will be on hand to help you make art out of your bikes and then on to the beautiful cycle way you go!

It's going to be a gorgeous day - stop by and say hi (even you big kids) and grab some ribbon for your handlebars.... go on you know you want to :-)

We'll be in Wimbo Park on Bourke Street (opposite Devonshire Street) between 11-3 on Sunday 15th!

Cycle Chic Kids are go!!

Bondi Beach Cycle Chic - Part 2

A little more Summer fun from my Sunday in Bondi, this time the guys - BMX boys and cute dad Grant.

Guys and their BMX bikes

Joyce rented her bike for the day from The Humble Vintage - a GREAT bike hire company that started in Melbourne and has now crossed the border to Sydney.
Wonderful old restored bikes that you pick up from cool cafes and rent for the day, the week or longer.
They do great custom maps and guides too so if you're looking for a bike for the next Cycle Chic ride, you know who to call!

Beach Cruisers on Bourke Street

bikes on bourke street

Ah Sydney Summer and beach cruisers on the Bourke Street cycle way, what more could you ask for?

Will be heading down to Bondi tomorrow for some cycle chic snapping with Miss Joyce from Cycle Style who's visiting from Melbourne.
I've promised her lots of Bondi beach babe bike action and we have a reputation to keep up!
And yes Copenhagen, there might even be some bikini bike shots to warm you up if you're really lucky...

Cycle Style, Bake Sales and Bicycles

Plans for this Saturday's Cycle Chic Sundays ride have taken over my life lately so before I get on with the final preparations, here is the latest from Sydney.

Last weekend I had the pleasure of spending time with Joyce from Cycle Style Australia.  She was in town for a few days doing some research for her stint as guest blogger on the Design Files - very exciting to be featured in her Sydney roundup today. She has also written about some great Sydney cycle destinations so check it out!
Of course we spent our time looking for cycle chic on the streets of Surry Hills, (what really, I hear you say)..... and we weren't disappointed!
