The Mystery of the Lonely Schwinn

I've been seeing this bike every day on my work commute for months now and it's becomming an obsession....

Who owns it ?
Where do they work ?
Do they want to ride with us ?

I think I'll leave a note in the spokes soon...............
: )

And still it rains........and the streets are empty

I am very happy to see the green lanes slowly appearing around the city.  The times they are finally changing.

The slowest bicycle movement

Ok so the rain continues, the faces of cyclists are squinting against the elements and style-less waterproof rainwear abounds.  This is not a good week to be cycling in Sydney.

My urgency to take the ladies to the streets in snappy chic frocks for some civilised riding seems to be on shaky ground....we are (in Sydney) indeed the slowest bicycle movement...............

Some classic style on a rainy bike free day

It's been raining in Sydney for days but seems like weeks, so little to do but delve deeper and deeper into the blogsphere and feed my bike addiction.

Loving this shot........

I'm in love

Why has it taken me over 20 years to become re-acquainted with cycling ? It's more than riding a bike - that you never forget - it's freedom........
Copenhagen Cycle Chic has a lot to answer for. Mikael I thank you.

Meet Inge. I started my mission to find the perfect classic bike about 6 months ago and of course discovered Velorbis right away. Endless hours of blogging and googling later, I am now the proud owner of my own piece of Danish cycle perfection.
I didn't go out with the intention of purchase but it just sort of happened, as these things do, and the very next day she came home.

So Sydney, wake up and join me - I know you're out there. This may be the worst city on earth for cycling but I will not be beaten.
